When testing an EDI 850 message, if the company offers a service to validate this message, you will need to upload the customer’s 850 specification in PDF format (regardless of whether the file is provided by your company or a partner company). The tool will then validate the EDI 850 message against the uploaded specification. Initially, it will check if the message adheres to the EDI standard format, and subsequently, it will validate it against the EDI specification you have uploaded.
